Can an American Flag be Cleaned?

In most cases an American Flag can be touched up to get dirt/grime out of the fabric. We suggest calling your local dry cleaners and seeing if they clean the flags. Many even do it for FREE! This is the safest and best way to have your flag cleaned. If you prefer to try and clean it at home, try warm water with maybe a little light/color safe detergent. Let the flag hang dry, we do not suggest a dryer, even on tumble as it will beat on the fabric and especially no heated dryer settings.
